When last did you buy a skincare product and you checked out each ingredient to be sure what to expect?
For many people, it has been a while. For others, never.
All most women care about is that they are using a well-known brand or that it works for them.
But, just because a skincare product works for your skin doesn’t mean it is safe for your skin. Some skincare products are made with harsh chemicals. So, even though they work for your skin, they can cause greater damage, later.
This is why it is better to go for a safer and healthier choice; organic skincare.
Today, we will discuss the different reasons why you should be using organic skincare. Without wasting more time, let’s get started.
Why you should use organic skincare
-
Organic skincare products do not contain harsh chemicals
When using organic skincare, you can be sure of one thing, there are no chemicals.
Agreed, some dermatologists say that there are some chemicals that are good for the skin, but not all of them are.
And since we are not dermatologists, how do we know the chemicals that are harmful and those that aren’t?
This is why it is safer to just stick to organic skincare.
Some of these harsh chemicals include diethanolamine, parabens, phthalates, sodium laurate sulfate, monoethanolamine, triethanolamine, etc.
Our environment already exposes us to a lot of toxins; you do not want to add your skincare product to the list.
-
Organic skincare products promote good health
Most women think that the things they apply on their skin will at most only affect their skin, but that is wrong.
The substances you apply on your skin get absorbed into your bloodstream and are spread throughout your body.
So, your skincare does not affect only your skin, it affects your entire body system.
Using a skincare product with chemical ingredients that you can’t easily pronounce or tell their function is not the healthy choice.
Exposing yourself to harmful chemicals can lead to hormonal imbalance, photosensitivity, headaches, skin irritation, accelerated dehydration, cancer, etc.
The worst part is, the long-term effects of using these harsh chemicals are highly damaging to your skin.
Most organic skincare products are made from fruits and plants that we eat on a normal day. So, you can be rest assured that even if they penetrate through your skin, they are great for your total well-being.
-
Organic skincare causes less side effects
Since organic skincare is made from natural products, they cause lesser side effects than other products. Some do not cause any side effects at all.
Organic skincare seems to be the safer choice for sensitive skin, because you do not have to worry about skin irritation.
And even if that happens, it is very minimal and rare.
Organic skincare does not contain chemical irritants like carcinogens, parabens, and allergens. They are mild and gentle on the skin.
With the right blend of plants and seed extracts, you will get the skin you desire but without the irritation and allergies that come with chemical-based skincare products.
The BeauCrest African Black soap will do all these and more.

4. Organic skincare works
Organic skincare products work. Sometimes even more than the chemical ones you buy at the store.
They require less processing, so your skin enjoys the abundant goodness from mother nature. What you get is the rich, undiluted extract from these plants.
If anyone tells you they do not work, that person is wrong.
If you get a product with the right blend of ingredients, it will work magic on your skin. Most plants, fruits and seeds perform more than one function for your skin.
Honey, for example, is anti-inflammatory so it helps to reduce the appearance of acne and prevent it from getting inflamed. It is an antioxidant, so it helps to clear off aging signs. It also helps to soothe skin irritation and it moisturizes the skin too.
These are not all of its benefits and you get all these just by using honey.

Organic skincare products are affordable
If you can afford to buy a skincare product that has chemicals, then you can afford to buy organic skincare products.
In fact, some organic skincare products are not as expensive as the chemical ones that eventually hurt your skin.
Even if you can’t afford any organic skincare products, you can go the DIY way — directly to those fruits and plants. See the next point…

You can create your own organic skincare product
With the right information, you can prepare your own organic skincare product.
All you have to do is look for natural ingredients that work for your skin problem, and research the right blend of ingredients and how to use them.
Then, you can go ahead to make yours. There are a lot of combinations you can mix for different kinds of skin conditions.
So, if you do not have money to buy your product from skincare brands, you can make yours and it will still be effective.
You cannot try that with chemicals. Little wonder why there are no DIY skincare channels that provide chemicals as ingredients for your skin.
In conclusion,
Organic skincare is the safest, healthiest and smartest option for your skin.
It is not smart to see organic skincare that works and decide to go for chemical ones. Chemicals, even though they might work, can have a negative effect on your skin in the long run.
But you do not have to worry about that with natural skincare.
Now, over to you…

90% of organic skincare made dz days contains chemical. They will tell u that it is organic but within 3days ur body will start bleaching. So I don’t knw whether organics works that way??
Yes, I understand that most organic skincare products are not fully organic but not all of them are. The BeauCrest African black soap, for example, is made from pure plants. To learn more about the soap, click on this link: https://www.beaucrest.ng/get-african-black-soap-2/

I am so skeptical about organic product.. The last time i used an organic soap, i had lots of pimples break out on my face.. i was told that my skin was repairing itself! .. Real organics are kinda rare.
Hi,
It depends on the brand you got your product from. I sell both a soap (Selina) and an organic moisturizer that is made from purely plants. You just have to find the one that is right for your skin.

Hi…
I can’t give you the details about producing your own cream and soap. But if you are looking for a pure organic soap, get the black soap. Also, you can use any natural oil (as long as you are not reacting to it) as your cream.
